Sources and method

Exposetter is a fair directory for companies that want to exhibit: it compiles upcoming fairs from official sources, takes your space and stand request, and runs the process with the organizer and our stand partners.

Method

  • Every record comes from a single named publisher, stated on its page; when two sources publish the same fair, the records merge rather than duplicate.
  • Calendars refresh on the source’s own rhythm; Türkiye and the open-data sources re-sync weekly. When a source moves a date, it moves here.
  • A fair that ran three years in a row is marked ‘expected’ for the next year — by measurement, never with an invented date.

What we never do

  • We take no data from aggregator sites.
  • We invent no date, venue or organizer the source did not state; blank stays blank.
  • We use no source whose terms forbid it — the ones we refused are on record too.

Other regions only through the BOE's international fairs.

Source: the monthly lists of fairs declared to be held in Paris, published by the Préfecture de Paris et d'Île-de-France — Paris only, for the months published so far; the list names no organizer.

Source: calendars published by the venues and organizers themselves (Messe Düsseldorf, Messe Stuttgart, P.E. Schall) — not all of Germany, these three publishers' programmes. The AUMA database was not used, per its terms.

Source: the AAXO (Association of African Exhibition Organisers) member calendar — only fairs held in South Africa.
